DAVID PEYSER SPORTSWEAR
David Peyser Sportswear was my first full time design job out of college, starting as the Junior Designer in the company's marketing department. David Peyser Sportswear is a national distributor of resort wear and collegiate licensed apparel that houses brands such as MV Sport, Weatherproof, The Game Headwear, American Threads and Weatherproof Vintage. At DPS I handled a wide range of projects that included catalog layout development, photo selection and retouching, trade show design, e-mail and web design, packaging design, as well as video production and motion graphics.
CATALOG LAYOUT
When I joined the David Peyser Sportswear marketing team just in time for the tail end of the 2016 catalog production cycle, I immediately jumped into working on color correcting garment lay downs, image retouching, and superimposing graphics to model garments. In 2017 I was more involved, taking over a majority of the catalog layout, prepping for photo shoots, and assisting with image retouching.

PACKAGING DESIGN
My first packaging assignment for MV Sport was the MV Zip Pack. The job required me to design the front and back prints along with a size sticker that could be applied to the pack.

DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION
While Auburn University was planing a promotion on our American Threads garments, our team had to source a display and create custom signage for Auburn’s bookstores. One of my jobs on this project was to illustrate the display in use with our garments, graphics, and signage.
FLYER DESIGN
Throughout my time working at MV I was often designing flyers for promotions, garments, and new processes. This is one of my designs that quickly became a popular template for sales reps.
PRINT ADS
At MV Sport I had the opportunity to create ads for The College Store Magazine and Golf Magazine. On this assignment I was responsible for typesetting, layout, photo retouching and superimposing.
WEB DESIGN
While most of my time spent at MV was working on design for print, I also helped to maintain the company website. My contributions included redesigning the menu, periodically updating and creating new slider images, category images, styling/shooting/editing new laydown images, and occasional back end maintenance.
VIDEO PRODUCTION
Video production is a passion I don't get to exercise enough, so when MV wanted to expand their presence and add video content I was excited to jump on the opportunity. Last year MV launched a new watercolor process they wanted to highlight with a marketing video. I handled the majority of this project, including shot layouts, cinematography, and editing.
Every year MV Sport is represented at the CAMEX campus retail trade show and fashion show. For the 2017 fashion show, I was assigned to create short videos with some light motion graphic work that would play behind each of our models on the runway.
